LEGO® Friends is the LEGO® Group's first attempt at a video game made for girls that was released in 1999. It allowed girls to create music and practice to win competitions.

It originally started development in 1997 under the name "Klik Chix" at SPU-Darwin, before being placed under the LEGO® Media International banner. It also was supposed to be the start of an entire software range for girls, but those plans ultimately didn't plan out.
